Ben was born and raised in Abington Township and lives in Ward 7 with his wife, Karen, and their two young daughters.

After attending Abington's outstanding public schools, Ben studied accounting at Villanova University. He then worked as an auditor for a large international accounting firm and earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant.
Ben decided to continue his education and attended law school at Temple University. For the first nine years of his legal career, he worked as a real estate lawyer at one of the most well-respected law firms in Philadelphia. He is currently a sole practitioner in Abington Township. His primary practice area is zoning and land use law and he teaches a course on that topic at Drexel University's law school.

  • Representing public and private clients in various real estate matters: acquisitions and dispositions, condemnations, real property finance, real estate tax appeals, and zoning and land development approvals
  • Developed specialties in land use and real estate valuation matters
  • Reported Case: National Parks Conservation Association v. Lower Providence Township, 608 F. Supp. 2d 637 (E.D. Pa. 2009).
